Kuek Lee Tian

Kuek is an experienced professional who focuses her legal practice in various conveyancing matters, banking and finance, and various type of commercial agreements. Throughout her practice, she has gained extensive experience in high-value property transactions, representing local and foreign individuals and companies.

She assists clients in the transfer of property in succession pursuant to grants of probate or letters of administration. She frequently drafts complex joint-venture agreements and prepares Sale and Purchase agreements for developers in their housing development projects.

Kuek also represents and advises banks on legal documentations in banking transactions including refinancing and the financing purchase of property granted to individual or companies. She is well-versed in advising banks in various processes of restructuring the borrower’s banking facilities, handling and drafting legal documentations for all types of banking facilities granted to companies for the purpose of working capital, and advising banks in regard to the legal documentation to bridge financing and contract financing. She has experience in coordinating with banks’ legal department for loan documentation involving foreign corporate guarantors. Her experience in banking and finance covers conventional banking and Islamic banking financing.

Kuek has also gained vast experience in drafting various commercial contracts such as shareholder and partnership agreements, sale of business agreements, agency agreements, consultancy agreements, employment contracts and other various commercial agreements especially involving SMEs.
