Chris Carreira is a Managing Director in Andersen's Greenwich office and has over 12 years of experience in a variety of tax matters.
Chris’ practice primarily focuses on providing compliance and consulting services to high net worth individuals and their families, with an emphasis on income, fiduciary, estate and generational wealth transfer tax issues. He seeks to provide integrated, holistic tax planning and consulting advice customized to each client’s specific needs and goals, with an emphasis on minimizing income, gift and estate taxes utilizing state-of-the-art planning techniques.
Chris has deep experience in providing planning and consulting services for high net worth individuals seeking to integrate a family office into their overall family infrastructure. He has assisted clients through the entire family office start-up cycle, including designing the family office framework, modeling the family office economics and implementation of the family office in conjunction with advisors and employees. Chris also has extensive experience in fulfilling his clients charitable endeavors. He has frequently assisted clients in establishing public charities and private foundations, including private museums for artwork or other collectibles.
